Could not be more pleased with my stay at Pathfinder 🙌🏻 When I arrived I was given a tour of the site and allowed to pick my spot…extremely happy about that 🙏🏻 I had furnace issues with my camper and the owner came to help figure out the problem. The campsite is large with river access which made for a nice walk with my fur boy. When I’m in the area I’ll certainly be back ☺️

We had a lovely time at the resort. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and how well laid out the park was. Loved that all 3 power supplies are on the same post, so the sites are equipped for 15, 30 or 50 amp. Nice area too, very close to Harrison. Will be for back for sure again next year .

The staff were welcoming and showed us to our site. A level site was NB and this one was level and large. The wifi connection was good! The new laundry machines were highly efficient! Coins were needed. We have learnt to ask what is needed and get a supply!!The stream was a delight to visit.Other pet families were friendly. All in all a clean, efficiently run RV campground!

These are the most beautiful cabins! We were pleasantly surprised:) Our family had a blast experiencing Harrison, Kilby and doing parts of the Circle Farm Tour. There’s a bathtub and kitchenette which was perfect for our young kids. The desk provided the kids with a craft bag upon arrival which was amazing for the rainy day. Bring your login details for Netflix or Disney if you want to watch TV. Also, a portable lamp if you enjoy reading in bed. There is a playground and a grassy field for soccer, etc. if you’re sticking around the cabin. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Wow, pleasantly surprised with all the upgraded amenities, The showers and bathrooms were very clean and well maintained and the heated pool was fantastic. Swimming in the Englishman river was great. The prices for full upgraded services were very competitive. Walking or biking distance from downtown Parksville in just a few minutes. The best part of our trip was the overall kindness and wanting to satisfy our every request by Nicole and Toni. Fantastic people running the resort. I would definitely recommend you stay a while at Pathfinder resort. Thanks for all your help guys.Cheers see you soon

Our first stay at Pathfinder Agassi, but it won’t be our last. While the RV park is still being developed it appears that everything will be completed by next year. The sites are a generous size, unlike most parks in Canada. Plenty of grass and a pool under construction, a playground for children and it is close to Agassi and Harrison Hot Springs for restaurants and shopping. We did find the $10.00 charge for a guest to park a little over the top. However, it seems this is an issue throughout the industry with add on charges becoming the norm. Cathy and her husband run a lovely facility and are very helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was a big group of us and everyone had a great time with no complaints. Beautiful site. Very clean. Close to the beach, mini golf, golf, and all amenities. The pool was great and clean. The staff really made this stay memorable. They were super friendly and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. Including opening the store after hours just so six of us could get some ice cream. Can’t say enough about how enjoyable outer stay was. We will definitely be back next year.

Really enjoyed our stay. For a modern campground , with all the amenities, it still had that rustic campground look. The campsites were a good size and gave us plenty room. Nice easy access to the River. The camp caretakers were very good. They were very friendly and ready to give a hand to anyone that needed it. The playground was good and fit the rustic theme with lots big logs and climbing ropes but i think having more stuff geared for smaller (3-7yrs.)would be good. They are still working on the campground so maybe there will be next year? A fenced Dog area would be nice where you could take your dog of leash for a bit and let them play and run.

We were a group of four trailers. All of us had a great time, playing games with the kids, hanging out at the river watching the brave ones jump from a high bank into the water. The location is fabulous. We all went go-carting, mini golfing, to the bike park, walked along Rathtrevor beach and had many ice cream cones! Everything is close by. We’ll be back!

We come here every year, although a bit more enjoyable when we rent an RV as we can host a movie night with a projector kit and it unites the socially starved Campsite kids. Goonies! Pool is warm, general store is fantastic, new Pathfinder mgmt is friendly and amazing, River is the charm every year. Suggestions for future: maybe a kids library that we can leave and borrow books and a ping pong table? Best keep secret & five stars for families.

Our family of 4 stayed for 6 nights in a motorhome, August 2021. We had a very memorable stay for the following reasons: the campground is tidy and clean – outside and inside. The pool (heated). The wifi (strong connection). The playgrounds (natural design). The river. It’s proximity to the beaches and shops. Most importantly; however, the staff were great. And among them, a special thanks to the campground managers: they accommodated our late arrival, our request to stay longer and so much more. This campground is worth your consideration.

Excellent spot for a stay in Agassiz. We stayed in one of the new cabins within the camp resort. We chose a pet friendly one as we were travelling with our dog. The cabin was very clean, modern, nicely decorated and furnished. We stayed there for 4 days, 3 nights and it was in a great location to visit family living in Agassiz. Also, we had other family members who stayed in their trailer in the camp resort so was really convenient for us all to stay in one location. They have a very nice playground for kids, lots of green space to run and play and they are opening a pool in spring of 2022. We will definitely stay there again anytime we visit our family in Agassiz.

Lovely quiet campground with cabins. We had a good site away from the noise of the main road. Love the grass and the site was quite large for our 20 foot trailer. Typical rv camping with sites quite close together but that is usually what you get with full hook ups. Quick drive to Harrison lake and will definitely go back.

Had a great time, Kathy and Guy were fabulous to deal with, they were very pleasant, informative and helpful. Had a large enough site for our 36′ motorhome and 6 man tent for my family. After being there for only about an hour I went to the office to book a second weekend and can’t wait to go back. 50 amp service, good store in the office, great playground, laundry, very clean washrooms and even a craft room for the kids adjacent the office. Roads are flat and perfect for the the kids to ride their bikes. Quiet time at 11pm is enforced which was much appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating! Our kids loved the craft room, playground and riding around the loop several times on their bikes and rollerblades. Some of the hedges were dying in between the campsites but our campsite had a beautiful Willow tree that kept us in the shade. Only 5 minutes from Harrison made for good day trips.

I live Near Island Campgrounds. The washrooms are clean, the ice cream at the general store has amazing ice cream and every site has access to water and hydro. It’s a short walk over the bridge to downtown Fort Langley so there is always something to do on and off the grounds. Also for anyone, like me, who doesn’t drive, is able to get there via public transit.

Good communication of what to expect on website and in pre-arrival emails. Good communication of where the campground is right now, meaning working hard due to drought conditions and newly planted grass and trees when I arrived. They asked me not to place mats on grass due to it being fragile right now, totally makes sense. Campgrounds are very clean and in good repair. It has lots of potential as they finish amenities they will have in the end. Staff were friendly. We don’t have young kids but they had movie night for the kids on the weekend which was great! We were in location 3 right by the entrance, it was a little smaller than the others but worked for us. We weren’t bothered by the entrance or the road. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the campground or any negative experiences. The cost was more than we would normally pay and that would be the only reason we wouldn’t return. With a 35’ travel trailer there wasn’t room in our spot for it and our truck. We had to park elsewhere on the campground, that wasn’t a big deal for us but could be for others.

We stayed in a small RV site with our pop up camper. (Site 14). The small sites are very open, so we’d probably stay in a large site near the road next time for more privacy. The bathrooms, playground and sites were all immaculately clean. One VERY minor suggestion would be to put arrows on the site numbers as it’s a little confusing what site you are supposed to setup in.

Fort Langley

The park was easy to find. It is located at the end of Glover Road. (main street Fort Langley). There is pavement all the way until you arrive at the park. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. Our site, D2, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer) were to the left side. Distancing is very reasonable for an urban park. Most sites had a vegetation barrier Each site has a table and most have a fire pit. Our site was flat but sloped to the right. Overall the park was pretty and well manicured. The included “Tengo” wifi internet worked very well with a log in password. We did find a few OTA TV. Satellite might be difficult because of the trees if you don’t have a portable dish. We did not use the washrooms or pay showers but we checked and found them clean. There is a pathway that runs along the property and is popular with locals walking their dogs . There is a much longer trail (Fort to Fort) that begins across the bridge. It is a popular bicycle and walking trail. During the peak season, the campground rents out “peddle cars” large for adults and small for children. There is a very small store on site as well as propane sales. Within easy walking distance is the village of Fort Langley where you can find good food and convenience stores. We found this park to be a well run urban RV park. We paid $47.00 less10% for booking on line per night and we feel we received good very good value. We will be back if in the area again. Be advised, this is a very popular park and booking is allowed 365 days out.

We rented a trailer and came camping from Oct 1 – 3. No mosquitos at all at this time of the year. Campground is well managed and clean. The road and the sites are well set up. Kids enjoyed playing at the playground and the river bank. Also a nice walk on the island. Walking distance to Fort Langley, a really nice town. You can hear loud train from time to time, but didn’t bother us TBH. Though our friends got robbed by a few raccoons 🙂

Had a great time and enjoyed celebrating the Christmas theme weekend. Have already booked for next year for Christmas in August. Mosquitoes weren’t too bad…better than expected. Enjoyed the easy walk into town and husband was easily able to commute to and from work in Burnaby. Our family of 4 (+ small dog) had a great time. The sites were spacious (especially since it was our first time backing a trailer), flat and clean. Our kids enjoyed the large open field and playground, and we loved the close proximity to trails and Fort Langley for lunch. What we all REALLY Loved was how quiet it was at night! I guess we lucked out with good, quiet neighbours (something we’re not used to as we usually camp in provincial campgrounds where the other campers tend to be rowdier). We had a GREAT stay and will definitely be back soon!

Just returned from a weekend getaway at Fort Camping and this campground is a solid 5/5 in our view, and we have camped in many places before. Perfection is difficult to achieve, but there is a real effort here to make everyone’s stay comfortable and enjoyable. We stayed for two nights (August 13/14), my wife and 10-year-old daughter, and were hopeful that there would be some great activities for our daughter to enjoy and Fort Camping did not disappoint! I could fill this review with details, but the items that stick out most were the overall cleanliness, the willingness of staff to make our stay enjoyable, the number of other kids our daughter’s age, the planned activities and the Halloween themed activities. On that final note, the number of campers who went “all-out” is commendable and added immeasurably to the festive nature! The “Fright Night” display was over-the-top and entirely unexpected. I guess that is what really made our stay so special, the unexpected value-added features. We are looking forward to our next trip there, hoping for a cancellation (this place is popular and booked up for 2021). Cannot wait to enjoy another heavy-duty ice cream (one sco0p is definitely enough for anyone!) and a refreshing swim in the amazingly-clean riverside beach. The sites are very reasonably priced ($92 for 2 nights, nicely-treed site with 30 amp electrical and water, including taxes) and gave ample room for our tent trailer and tent. We have paid much more for “dry camping” sites without any natural separation from our neighbours! Each site comes with a sturdy picnic table and a fire pit for when the ban lifts. Lots of natural foliage and a good amount of space to spread out a bit.Fort Langley is a short walk away and we visited the Old Fort and really enjoyed our time there, despite the Covid closure of a few buildings. A self-guided tour was more than adequate and we really enjoyed panning for gold.Everything from the coin machine dispensing properly, to quick hot showers to courteous pet owners to complete lack of sewer/garbage/pot smells compounded to make this a truly enjoyable visit to Fort Camping. Kudos to the staff and management and looking forward to our return!

Really liked this park. Full services, kids park and of course, close walk to Fort Langley shops and river beach.

This is such a great place to camp. It is very well maintained and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, close to the town, the river and for us home. The planned activities for the kids are awesome. We will be back.
