Nice campground. Been to it many times. Unfortunately we had heavy rain and a 12 hour power outage on this visit. Still everything worked out.

Do like it there, it was raining but obviously not their fault. Facilities were clean and the trail around the island was well maintained. Very close to town which is definitely set up for tourist's. Also was able to see them film a movie at the community center.

The campgrounds were well taken care of and the location is exceptionally good . Price was reasonable. The reason for my low rating was that the staff made no effort to be helpful whatsoever, and while they weren't rude, they made no effort to be friendly or helpful. We arrived early, around their checkout time, and were told we could park in a day use lot beside the campground, which had no RV spots whatsoever. Within a half hour, another truck trailer unit went in. I walked through the area, and at least half of the sites were empty. What bothered me the most was she never even asked my name so she hadn't even checked if the site could be open.During our stay we noticed security driving carts past, more than once, with no effort to smile or acknowledge us while we were walking by.I don't like to blame the individuals, as the issue may be systemic, but they should improve the attitude towards the tourists that are visiting them.

We camped at Fort Camping about 20 years ago when our children where young. Now they are all grown up and two are living on their own away from home. The campground has changed quite a bit, first being no pool but it looks like a lovely place to come and camp during the week. There are full hook ups and the sites are on the whole nicely spaced apart! I see us camping here in the future... So the future happened...we came to Fort Camp and stayed for four nights and had just the best time! Great campsite, cleanest bathrooms, if you need them and the nicest people to meet all around us! We went on some wonderful walks and of course we walked into Fort Langley for a look see too! We will be back...

Had a great time and enjoyed celebrating the Christmas theme weekend. Have already booked for next year for Christmas in August. Mosquitoes weren't too bad...better than expected. Enjoyed the easy walk into town and husband was easily able to commute to and from work in Burnaby. They are very sticky about parking, two cars in a spot, etc. Employees did a great job working on the grounds and keeping things well maintained. Nice large site and easy accessibility for large rigs.

Be very careful when booking here.My father booked a site to stay with our family here and was denied entry because he was a “pop up travel trailer” and was book in as a “travel trailer “Manager said there’s no exceptions to the rules yet there was a pop up travel trailer only a couple sites away while we stayed there (I’ve got pictures) and an identical trailer to my fathers in a full hook up site 3 weeks earlier (pictures of that to) maybe those were friends of the manager? We will never know, and will look else where to book our family camping trips, no worth dealing with the whims of this managerAs stated they allowed an identical trailer to my fathers In to a full hook up site 3 weeks before this, there rules are not applied consistently.

Pay 80 Dollars to take my 6 yr old son camping. (2 day minimum). Made it to 2:38 am night one, when we were robbed and no longer felt safe. No not for our fancy stuff but for a knife and food. This is no place for kids! My son is terrified and never wants to camp again. Our site was dirty and there was constant sound of traffic when trying to sleep, staff were unfriendly. Thought day 2 might be better-ha. I am beyond angry and could not pay me to ever go to Brae Island again! 10 out of 10 worst camping experience ever.

Enjoyed my stay. It was well taken care of, nice to walk to Fort Langley. Mosquitoes were totally manageable with citronella candles and deep woods ! It’s a little more ‘RV park’ish than I prefer, (like camping with more trees spots).. but I knew that going in- nice to have full hook up and showers.. All in all it was a nice week

Our family of 4 (+ small dog) had a great time. The sites were spacious (especially since it was our first time backing a trailer), flat and clean. Our kids enjoyed the large open field and playground, and we loved the close proximity to trails and Fort Langley for lunch. What we all REALLY Loved was how quiet it was at night! I guess we lucked out with good, quiet neighbours (something we're not used to as we usually camp in provincial campgrounds where the other campers tend to be rowdier). We had a GREAT stay and will definitely be back soon!

Just returned from a weekend getaway at Fort Camping and this campground is a solid 5/5 in our view, and we have camped in many places before. Perfection is difficult to achieve, but there is a real effort here to make everyone's stay comfortable and enjoyable. We stayed for two nights (August 13/14), my wife and 10-year-old daughter, and were hopeful that there would be some great activities for our daughter to enjoy and Fort Camping did not disappoint! I could fill this review with details, but the items that stick out most were the overall cleanliness, the willingness of staff to make our stay enjoyable, the number of other kids our daughter's age, the planned activities and the Halloween themed activities. On that final note, the number of campers who went "all-out" is commendable and added immeasurably to the festive nature! The "Fright Night" display was over-the-top and entirely unexpected. I guess that is what really made our stay so special, the unexpected value-added features. We are looking forward to our next trip there, hoping for a cancellation (this place is popular and booked up for 2021). Cannot wait to enjoy another heavy-duty ice cream (one sco0p is definitely enough for anyone!) and a refreshing swim in the amazingly-clean riverside beach. The sites are very reasonably priced ($92 for 2 nights, nicely-treed site with 30 amp electrical and water, including taxes) and gave ample room for our tent trailer and tent. We have paid much more for "dry camping" sites without any natural separation from our neighbours! Each site comes with a sturdy picnic table and a fire pit for when the ban lifts. Lots of natural foliage and a good amount of space to spread out a bit.Fort Langley is a short walk away and we visited the Old Fort and really enjoyed our time there, despite the Covid closure of a few buildings. A self-guided tour was more than adequate and we really enjoyed panning for gold.Everything from the coin machine dispensing properly, to quick hot showers to courteous pet owners to complete lack of sewer/garbage/pot smells compounded to make this a truly enjoyable visit to Fort Camping. Kudos to the staff and management and looking forward to our return!

Friendly staff, the sites are a bit ontop of each other but thats to be expected for an RV campground , the trains can be loud but I slept with ear plugs so I didn't hear them ... I enjoy each visit that I do here and will be back for many more

Spent many weeks here while waiting for occupancy of our new home, after selling the prior home. Staff are friendly and accommodating, quiet environment, kids are busy at the beach and playground, and many trails to ride their bikes. Fort Langley town is walking distance. Enough trees, and privacy between sites, not as big as a provincial park, but close. Sites are not as tight together as many private RV sites. I highly recommend it. Book in advance as they are constantly full and taking reservations now for next year.

It's fine. Corporate operation so many rules and Covid requirements that seem a little intimidating at first, but is just to limit liability exposure.Power and water are good Campground is well laid out, clean, well managed. We just needed to overnight, but they have a 2 night minimum so it turns into over $100. It is what it is.

This private campground is a great local hideaway! It's nestled right in Fort Langley and is a 5min walk to the township and so close to the trail that takes you to a nice quiet beach on Brae Island. Book campsites early for sure to get the spot you want. This area is very friendly for families and dogs alike! Everyone is really friendly too who comes here and it has a playground and mini theatre. A great experience all around!

Repellent with DEET is most effective and safe when used as directed: The percentage of DEET should not exceed 30% for adults or 10% for children. DEET should not be used for infants under 6 months of age.
