We always have a great time especially when you are able to keep our group close together like you did this years and in the past. It's always nice to see the grounds kept so well and washrooms impeccable. Seeing your maintenance staff make regulate rounds checking that all is well is also a plus.

We spent a weekend in the tent cabins at Fort Camping. The campground is nestled in a spectacular nature setting on Brae Island. There is endless walking/biking trails right from the camp site as well as a beautiful beach and River frontage for kayaking or just relaxing. The small heritage village of Fort Langley is also just a minutes walk from the camp ground. We felt like we were tucked far away into the wilderness and yet we were just moments from activities, great dining and specialty shops. It's my favourite place to go. I wish the cabins were winterized and available for the off season. I also wish the cabins had a microwave. Our small heater kept us warm in the September evenings since the cabins are not heated.

Such a wonderful clean campground, we had friends join us this visit and they were pleased as well. Even with the mosquitoes, we had a great time. The only negative that the 4 of us had was the amount of speeding vehicles we witnessed. Posted 10 km per hour in the campground but the majority of vehicles were travelling much faster. To us it was a concern due to the number of children playing and riding bikes, rental carts etc. Very unsafe for them due to the amount of speeding!

A beautiful place to camp. Very quiet minus the trains that go by every so often. Has a very small store and a small laundromat on site. Great place to just sit back and relax and enjoy sitting outside in the sun.

It was a very enjoyable time - the three sites were perfect. We sat around a blazing campfire each evening. We were warned about mosquitoes - but they seemed all absent - I don't think I had any bite. Very friendly neighbors. We'll come again - and we'll highly recommend the place.

We have camped here 4 or 5 times. We love Brae island. The price is very reasonable, the sites are spacious, pets are aloud, there are playgrounds, badminton nets, a store, showers, bathrooms, and pedal go carts.the river is a few minutes walk away and is very swimable. Fort Langley is walking distanceThis is a private campground and you don’t have to compete booking online.Great campground

Check-in went smoothly, site was easy to back into, and hookups were strategically placed for efficient use. Garbage/recycling/and restrooms were close by. Campground is kid friendly and a short walk to restaurants, etc. We will definitely come back.

Weather and bugs are a natural part of the camping experience. Because of high river levels we do have nuisance mosquitoes. However, the Township of Langley and Metro Vancouver are taking measures to control, monitor and treat the mosquito population, when it becomes an issue.

Mosquitoes are most active at dusk and dawn. When outdoors, cover up and use insect repellent. Repellent with DEET is most effective and safe when used as directed: The percentage of DEET should not exceed 30% for adults or 10% for children. DEET should not be used for infants under 6 months of age.
For more information on insect repellents please visit Health Canada’s web page.
