Weather and bugs are a natural part of the camping experience. Because of high river levels and our proximity to the Englishman River, mosquitoes are a likelihood.

Mosquitoes are most active at dusk and dawn. When outdoors, cover up and use insect repellent. Repellent with DEET is most effective and safe when used as directed: The percentage of DEET should not exceed 30% for adults or 10% for children. DEET should not be used for infants under 6 months of age.
For more information on insect repellents please visit Health Canada’s web page.
