What Our Customers Are Saying...

We stayed in one of the smaller cabins. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.Cable tv would be an asset but not essential and a cookie sheet would be helpful for heating a pizza but neither of these suggestions would deter us from staying in the future

Nice place close to Harrison lake and close to hwy 1 and hwy 7. Very clean and well level slots. Small playground with a pool during the warm season and a huge chess board that the kids loved. Was my first time will definitely be going back there.

We loved it! So community oriented. And the size is just perfect. Train is a little annoying as well as the front road traffic, but not a deal breaker. We’re coming back for sure. Thank you 😊

We loved our stay! Staff friendly & very accommodating. The camp was between a train track & a 2 lane highway, but being in a cabin this didn’t bother me at night. The well supplied cabin & beds were great. Having the pool open 1 hr. longer would’ve been nice, especially on such hot days (or for adults only?).

We have a 28ft trailer, which fitted nicely in spot 12. Each camp spot seems a good size. The campground itself is on the smaller side, which is nice. The washrooms are clean and well kept. We used the pool, which was nice, a few more chairs would have been good, but this did not affect our use. There’s a communal gazebo by the play area, which is reservable if you are having a group event, such as kids birthday party.I love that the green area in the centre is not allowed to have items kept on it, all your stuff is to be kept on your own site. Many campgrounds look scruffy with people’s items all over.My only negative comment, and it’s not really negative, is the arrivals. There is no obvious parking location to pull up and check in, so we pulled up in front of the office. Apparently this is not correct, but you should pull past the office, round the corner and down the first road to a stop sign. However, a newcomer has no idea this is the protocol as there is no signage.I know other reviews comment on the proximity to the railway line and the constant noise from trains. I have to say, we heard probably 5 or 6 whilst we were there for one day/night. We did not hear them throughout the night, and we slept with the windows open.

This was our first time at pathfinder and we will already be planning to come back next year. The staff here made sure to make us feel welcomed and looked after. The weekend activities were a great extra feature added to an already lovely place to be, it made for such a memorable time with our family. We stayed in the cabins which were kept clean and newly renovated. Was so nice to just show up and have everything there to use. Great place!

Absolutely wonderful family campground. Large level sites and a great park. The pool was a bonus in the hot July days and the paved loop around the campground is perfect for biking and scootering. Giant chess was a big hit with the kids and adults! This was such a great campground. Definitely in our fave top 5 all across North America! Train goes by, it was never long and never loud enough to be a nuisance.

I heard about this resort from a few camping friends of mine, and we absolutely loved staying there during the July long weekend! The cabins were very luxurious and comfy, they had awesome amenities including a pool. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Stayed in Cabin #5 this past long weekend, and instantly rebooked for next year. The campground has a great layout, tons to do for the kids, and excellent location close to Harrison for a a beach and lake day. What sets this place apart though is the staff. The couple that runs this place treat you like you’re there kids and grandkids coming to visit. Very caring and always checking in to see if we needed anything. This is our second year here and it’s definitely become an annual tradition going forward. Thanks again for a great vacation.
