Tony is THE BEST park manager we have ever encountered. Service is incredible, and always smiling. Truly a gift!!! And as such, this is one of the best run parks we have been to and we’ve been to ALOT. The staff are amazing; they even take you to your site and point out all the things to do in the park. Can you say Wifi! It’s everywhere in this park. Pathfinder has scored a 6 out of 5 on this one.

This campground ticks all of the boxes! But it’s the people and the managers that make it stand out! We spent Christmas here and didn’t have a reservation! Turned up on the 23rd and stayed 4 nights! Wonderful atmosphere, events organized all year round, and the sound of the river is mesmerizing!!! We cannot thank you enough for such an amazing stay and I’m 100% sure we’ll be back!

This is an excellent RV park. I received above and beyond good service, all the facilities and on-site utilities are in great condition and the RV park is right along a beautiful river where there is a great open sandy beach and the best place to swim.

Camped there for the first time on May long weekend of 2022. I love the atmosphere it’s very calm and relaxing very well keep and clean. Pet friendly and lots of activities to keep the kids busy. Including an outdoor heated pool and a bonus is your right one Englishman river. Loved it so much that my husband and I are booking again in October 2022 for our wedding anniversary. Loved having a full hook-up. There is also showers and laundry in site.

My husband & I had a two night stay voucher when purchasing our new to us Motorhome. We just camped up there for two nights Sept 28 & 29th in spot 61 just by the river. Beautiful well cared for RV resort, and we were welcomed at the gate upon our arrival 🙂 which was so nice! We could hear the river sounds as we slept which was so peaceful. I loved walking along the river as well, just gorgeous! We’ve never had wifi anywhere else we’ve camped unless we went to the office, so that was a great asset for those who need or want it.In future if we return during the hot summer months, I’m sure I’ll be sitting in that river!! Thanks for the great experience🙋‍♀️ John & Patti/ Victoria BC

This is our first time here and we cant stop raving about it lol we arrived yesterday and are staying till monday and i already have to rate this place a 5! Staff was very accommodating for our last minute stay, staff member guided us to our spot and answered all the questions we had. we have a spot that luckily enough has only 1 neighbour who is also tenting and they are great! having an awesome neighbour is a plus! they’ve stayed here before and answered any questions we had about the place and even how to get to the river. my family and i are already planning for our stay next summer! we even invited more family to join us on our next stay. cant wait to be back!

Even the way we entered the gates they guide you to your spot… and the front desk ladies were sweet as pie:) 😏VERY FAMILY ORIENTATED…. Huge bonus! And us adults could still have fun, with the safe feeling we had for our children! very clean sites and campground ⛺️The pool was a hit and clean and warm for our kiddies… and the new added sand to the river was soooo much better and comfortable! We will be booking right away again! This is a fantastic little site – so good that we stayed three nights and then returned for an extra night, having cut short a stay at a (much inferior) site near Ucluelet! We travelled from England to explore this area and we found both the staff and customers here to be just the friendliest, loveliest folk. It’s a clean, safe, well-appointed site in a great location. I really think not enough is made of the river in their marketing – it’s just glorious. We spent hours every day here (in August); swimming, jumping from the banks, sunbathing and looking for crayfish – our ten year-old daughter was in paradise! This place was a real high point of our trip around BC and we sincerely hope to return one day. Plot 61 is the best spot!

We are thoroughly impressed with the new Pathfinders resort in Parksville. We visited here 3 years ago when it was Parrys, and vowed never to come back due to the poor site conditions, dodgy hook up electrics and lack of staff maintenance around the site. However, this has completely changed and we are more than impressed with the campsite now. They have made so many improvements such as:* electronic gates with key card to get in/out* staff greet you when you first arrive with all your vehicle passes and campsite info, they then guide you to your camp spot, and assist in guiding you into your actual site.* Brand new camp shop with supplies* Toilets / Showers very clean* Brand new kids play area / equipment* All hook ups are brand new for both the electrics, water and sewer* Kids activities* Pedal go karts (30min hire)* New recreation area next to river* Swimming pool is well maintained and heated. (No lifeguard, so all small children must be accompanied, which is expected)However, the biggest improvement and a winner as far as we are concerned….SOLID….. STABLE….. WIFI….. !!!We were able to log onto our Netflix, Amazon prime and Disney plus….. with no buffering. We were able to surf at any time of the day with no glitches, no drop outs…..Well done Pathfinder Resorts…. Please keep this maintained !!!We will def be making further bookings here.(Will add photos later)
