The most anticipated event of the season is almost here! The Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Holiday Train is back on the rails, spreading holiday cheer and raising awareness for hunger relief across Canada and the U.S. This cherished annual tradition is a spectacle of lights, music, and giving. Good news, the train is making a stop just minutes away from Pathfinder Agassiz!
What is the CPKC Holiday Train?
The CPKC Holiday Train is a 1,000-foot-long marvel with 14 rail cars decked out in hundreds of thousands of LED lights, creating a dazzling display of holiday magic. One car even transforms into a traveling stage, hosting live performances from talented musicians.
This year, the Holiday Train begins its journey in Montreal and Hermon (Maine), making festive stops along its route through the U.S. and Canada. The event is free to attend, with attendees encouraged to bring food or monetary donations to support local food banks. It’s an inspiring mission to address hunger and support those in need during the holiday season.
The train will stop in Agassiz on December 19th, from 5:45 PM to 6:15 PM, at the Agra Center (Pioneer Avenue, Pioneer Road). It’s just 5 minutes from Pathfinder Agassiz, making it easy to join the fun! There will be music performance by Sofia Camara and Magic! at the Agassiz location.
