Let’s start big, like 14-million-tulips big. The Harrison Tulip Festival is Canada’s largest tulip festival, and it’s right here in the Fraser Valley. Stroll through 45 acres of jaw-dropping blooms, create your own bouquet at the Bloom Bar, and this year, check out the brand-new Night Garden — an illuminated evening experience that turns the fields into something out of a fairy tale.
Stay at Pathfinder Agassiz-Harrison
You’re practically neighbours. Pathfinder Agassiz is just 2 minutes from the tulip fields, and from Harrison Hot Springs. Book one of our cozy cabins (with full kitchen and hot showers!) or pull up in your RV. Wake up to mountain views, wander through tulips by day, roast marshmallows by night. That’s a hard combo to beat.
Abbotsford Tulip Festival at Lakeland Flowers

35 acres of tulips and wildflowers, golden pathways, giant Dutch wooden shoes (klompen, if you want to impress your kids), food trucks, and live piano on Thursday evenings. The Abbotsford Tulip Festival at Lakeland Flowers is a Fraser Valley classic, and this season they’re going all out with elevated viewing platforms, swings, canoes, and more photo ops than your phone’s storage can handle.
Pro tip: Hit up a weekday morning for fewer crowds and better prices. Your future Instagram grid will thank you.

Fort Camping puts you roughly an hour’s drive away with the bonus of exploring charming downtown Fort Langley before or after your tulip adventure. Or stay at Pathfinder Agassiz if you want to combine both the Abbotsford AND Harrison tulip festivals in one epic trip. Two festivals, one campground!
Spring at Maan Farms

If your little ones light up around baby animals, Maan Farms is a must. Their Baby Animal Easter (BAE) Days are basically cuteness overload — think Highland calves, bunnies, ducklings, lambs, and piglets. Then there’s Canada’s only Tulip Forest, a magical woodland trail lined with blooms and whimsical touches like a giant teapot house.
Add in the Barnyard Adventureland (ziplines, jumping pillows, pedal trikes) and farm-made ice cream, and you’ve got a full day sorted.

Sweet Spring at Greendale Acres

Another Fraser Valley gem for families! Greendale Acres goes all-in for spring with Dutch-inspired tulip displays, a charming footbridge, baby animal viewings, a train ride, and u-pick flowers. Mark your calendars for special events like Grandparents Day (April 24 — grandparents get in free!) and Princess & Superhero Day (April 25 — yes, Elsa and Spider-Man will be there).

Chilliwack and Agassiz are practically next-door neighbours in Fraser Valley terms. Base yourself at Pathfinder Agassiz and you can easily hit Greendale Acres, the Harrison Tulip Festival, AND the Abbotsford Tulip Festival all in one long weekend. Triple flower power!
Richmond Night Market

North America’s largest night market is back, and this year they’re celebrating the FIFA World Cup with a soccer-themed atmosphere. But let’s be honest, you’re here for the food. We’re talking 110+ food vendors serving up everything from ramen to BBQ squid to sausage in a waffle cone (don’t knock it till you try it).
Ride the 600-foot zipline above the action, hunt for deals during Happy Hour, or show up after 10 PM for $5 admission and late-night bites. Friday to Sunday evenings all season long.
Stay at Fort Camping (Fort Langley)
Fort Camping is your sweet spot, close enough to Richmond for a night market run, but far enough away that you wake up to birdsong instead of traffic. Grab a SkyTrain from Bridgeport Station and you don’t even have to worry about parking. Campfire snack THEN night market snack? Now that’s a power combo.
West Coast Amusements Richmond Carnival

Cotton candy, Ferris wheels, and those games where you’re convinced you can win the giant stuffed bear (spoiler: you probably can’t, but the kids will love watching you try). The West Coast Amusements carnival rolls into Richmond this spring with rides and thrills for the whole family.
