What a hauntingly good time we had at Fort Camping from August 9-11! Our annual Halloween in August weekend was a smashing success, proving once again why we love celebrating this spooky holiday early.
Fort Camping Turned Into A Spooky Park
Since 2006, we’ve been turning August upside down with our Halloween extravaganza, and this year was no exception. Our little goblins paraded their costumes without winter coats, and the campground was alive with the sound of trick-or-treaters having a blast in the summer warmth.
Good times at Fort Camping reached a fever pitch with the return of our spine-chilling haunted house, masterfully crafted by FrightFest BC (FFBC). Once again, FFBC outdid themselves, drawing in a whopping 456+ brave campers ready to face their fears. It’s become a beloved tradition that keeps our campers coming back year after year!

But the scares didn’t stop there – Fort Camping became a Halloween wonderland! Every nook and cranny was decked out in spooky splendor, creating the perfect backdrop for our popular RV decoration contest.
The creativity on display this year was off the charts. Choosing winners was tougher than ever, with so many campers going all out to create truly spectacular Halloween havens. We can’t thank our participants enough for their enthusiasm and imagination.
