WHAT IT IS
Pathfinder Ventures’ Management Services Division provides our partners with the best possible managed services for your camp resort, Glamping, and other Hard Roof Accommodations, Vacation Rentals, Mobile-Home, or Campground properties.
Become a branded Pathfinder Resort Property fully managed by Pathfinder Camp Resorts. Our services include central reservation services, marketing, program and activity development, financial accounting services, staffing & HR, training, and business and land development.
Pathfinder is focused on growing our network of family-friendly “flagged” Pathfinder Resorts properties through both owned properties and by creating strategic opportunities to expand our managed services to existing and future operations.
WHY PARTNER WITH US
WE HAVE THE EXPERIENCE.
Our team has been operating and managing camp resorts for the past 25 years. We have a wealth of experience managing tourism accommodations in several capacities. Stan Duckworth is the Chief Operating Officer for Pathfinder Ventures and has been managing camp resorts since the mid 1990s. Stan has experience working with different ownership groups as well as with local and provincial governments and First Nations Governments. He provides unique and valuable insight into what is required to manage, improve, and grow a property.
HANDS-ON DEDICATED MANAGEMENT.
When Pathfinder manages your property, you can rely on our full-service experience of expertise in operations, program planning and delivery, finance, HR, marketing, business, property development and customer service. Our experienced staff are well-versed in the tourism industry with a combined 100 plus years of experience. With our management services, you’re hiring a turn-key operation to take over the operations and management of your camp resort.
WE HAVE AGGRESSIVE GROWTH PLANS.
We’re growing our business through acquisitions, leases, and management partnerships—and setting a new standard in the Canadian camp resort industry. We are focused on proven methods, systems, and processes to achieve above-average results for our own properties, and those we manage. We are so confident in our ability to improve how each property is managed that we guarantee better returns with our “system”.
THE RIGHT SOLUTION?
Our Management Services Division is the ideal solution for owners looking to spend more time doing what they want, and less time running their property. If you’re interested in increasing your revenues, your bottom line, and the value of your property, we might be a good partner for you. We’ll take all the operations & management headaches off your plate.
And when it comes time to sell your camp resort, Pathfinder’s Management Services contract includes a Right of First Refusal. This is our commitment to operate your camp resort to our high standards with the goal of acquiring your camp resort down the road. Nothing is guaranteed, though this would be.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Our team will assess the needs of your resort and work with you to determine the best path forward. We’ll draft a management contract and present it to your team. Once the contract is agreed upon, we’ll get to work in the agreed upon timeframe.
Every property and ownership situation is unique. Pathfinder Ventures can offer a variety of agreements that best suit your unique situation.
#1 – START WITH A CONVERSATION
Meet with Stan Duckworth and our team to see how we can partner with you and your ownership group. These discussions will be held in confidence. After we meet and understand your needs, we can then provide a no obligation proposal with options and our initial views on your property.
#2 – DRAFT & SIGN CONTRACT
Once we agree to work together, our Pathfinder team will draft a contract and start operations at an agreed-upon time.
#3 – DEVELOP LONG-TERM OPERATION PLAN
We will gather input and information from all stakeholders, ownership, local government, and current staff where appropriate. This business plan will then be presented to property ownership for approval.
